LIFT is committed to the safety and wellbeing of the clients we serve. We will work tirelessly to ensure that we are meeting the mental health needs of our community in the face of this evolving situation.

#COVID19 Action Plan, updated 3/15/20:

We will begin to gradually transition clients to our tele-health platform, Zoom, for the next two weeks. Please contact your therapist for login information!

For in-office visitors this week and next:

To eliminate entirely the need for waiting in the waiting room, you may now text your therapist at your appointment time and request that she let you know when she is ready for you to come directly to the office! We prefer this method as well!

You will notice that we have removed all magazines and reading materials from the waiting room — please feel free to bring your own reading material. We will no longer be sharing materials of any kind. We have also removed all toys, games and art materials that could be shared from the offices.

ALL office doorknobs & ALL surfaces are being wiped with Clorox wipes in between sessions.

We have moved seating further away to create distance from others. Please feel free to come in to your appointment several minutes late in order to allow time for office cleaning, and to not have to wait in the waiting room.

Our offices will continue to be professionally sanitized bi-weekly by our cleaning staff, using Bleach and 70% alcohol products. These products will continue to be used daily on common surfaces.

We are washing our hands with antibacterial soap in between all appointments. We ask our clients to wash hands before entering office. We are NOT shaking hands, or otherwise coming into physical contact with clients in any way. Please bring a pen and paper to therapy as we are not sharing materials at this time.

Should you feel sick, or have been in contact with someone who is sick, we ask you to conduct a Zoom session or reschedule. Our cancellation policy will be waived to accommodate this. We will refuse to see anyone with any symptoms of illness. Should an individual arrive unwell for their therapy appointment, they will be responsible for the charge, and they will be turned away.

All of our therapists have been practicing social distancing, as well as the majority of our clients. We feel confident that we can and will keep our offices the safest place to be during this outbreak. We will continue to keep you updated on best practices and are staying constantly abreast of data and trends in the area.
